Steve Bucalo provides specialized supply chain advisory services, formulates business strategies and implements change which creates competitive advantage to many Fortune 500 companies and leading public sector enterprises. Steve leads client consulting teams which have produced over $5 billion of strategically sourced contracts for materials, equipment and services.


Prior to joining GEP, Steve was a Vice President of AT Kearney and a Partner with Ernst & Young. He holds an MBA from Long Island University and a BS in Economics from Manhattan College.

Jagdish Turimella

As GEP Co-founder and Chief Operating Officer, Jagadish "JT" Turimella leads the consulting practice and manages the company's operational functions. Under JT's leadership the company has grown into a leading procurement consulting, outsourcing and technology firm that has won many industry accolades for growth and great client work. For his leadership within GEP and in the broader supply chain field, JT has been named one of the "Pros to Know," a list of top industry professionals, by the Supply & Demand Chain Executive.


Prior to joining GEP, JT was a senior manager within the operational and pharmaceutical practice at A.T. Kearney. JT has held various management positions at the Option Clearing Corporation and Intergraph Corporation. At Intergraph Corporation, he was responsible for creating new software products and developing and executing go-to-market strategies.


JT received his MBA with high honors from the University of Chicago. He also holds an M.S. in Computer Science and a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering, both from Clemson University. JT also serves as an Advisory Board Member at Clemson's Department of Computer Science.

Mike Brewis Levie

Mike is a Vice President in our London office and responsible for our European Consulting practice. An experienced program manager, Mike has 20 years consulting and client-side experience with Accenture and Sainsbury's During his time as a consultant, Mike has led projects covering strategic sourcing, supply chain and IT transformation. He has delivered a number of strategic sourcing and category management engagements for our European clients. His sector experience covers: retail, consumer goods, industrial, downstream oil, healthcare and Government.


Mike holds a BA (Hons.) and MA degrees in Marketing from Manchester Metropolitan University and Kingston University respectively. He is also a Member of the UK's Chartered Institute of Marketing.

Dhananjay Nagalkar

As Vice President of Technology, Dhananjay drives Integrated eProcurement platform roadmap, development and operations at GEP. Dhananjay leads the development of innovative, simple and intuitive platform, delivered as subscription based "Software-as-a-Service". Prior to joining GEP, Dhananjay was Core Team Leader for Intel Corporation, responsible for delivering IP / Telco servers based on latest Intel processors. During his ten years at Intel, he assumed various roles developing and delivering cutting edge solutions in telecommunications, voice-over-IP and speech processing.


Prior to Intel, Dhananjay led the development of Intelligent Network framework for Telecom switches at Center for Development of Telemetries (C-DOT), India's premier R∓D company.


Dhananjay earned an MBA from Cornell University with specialization in General Management. He holds Master of Technology in Electronics from Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore and Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics from Visveswaraya National Institute of Technology, Nagpur with top rankings. He also holds two US patents for his work at Intel.

Binayak Shrestha

As one of the key members of the Consulting team, Binayak is responsible for large-scale strategic engagements, delivering sustainable cost savings and process improvement across various industries. He has extensive experience working with many Fortune 500 corporations. He is a seasoned professional in the field of supply chain and indirect spend management and is a recognized leader in procurement transformation, change management, and people development. Bin is based out of Clark, New Jersey.


Prior to joining GEP, Bin was a Market Maker in the transportation and corporate services verticals at FreeMarkets Inc. where he focused on strategic client engagements in the US and in Europe. Before FreeMarkets Inc, Bin worked at Smith Barney. Bin was also recently selected as a "2009 Pro to Know" by Supply and Demand Chain Executive magazine for demonstrating leadership during times of economic crisis.


Bin has earned his B.A. in Economics from Franklin and Marshall College.

Neha Desai Shah

As Executive Vice President of Business Development at GEP, Neha guides the company's growth initiatives by building and managing relationships with strategic customers and leading full-scale consulting engagements. Prior to joining GEP, Neha was a consultant at Accenture where she worked on a variety of sales, marketing and R&D engagements for Fortune 100 companies. She also assisted in the development of Accenture's Pharmaceutical and Medical Practices' eCommerce venture strategy. Before that, she was an associate at PricewaterhouseCoopers.


Neha received her MBA with a concentration in Entrepreneurial Management from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania with distinction. She also has a Bachelors degree in Finance from the Wharton School.

Abhishek Pandey

Abhishek manages large scale global procurement transformation programs. Abhishek is a seasoned supply chain professional with a strong focus on strategic sourcing, optimization of supplier network, Low cost country sourcing, procurement process outsourcing and procurement organization restructuring. He has worked across multiple domains (including CPG, Pharma, and Industrial Products) and across continents.


Prior to joining GEP, Abhishek worked with Capgemini, Ernst & Young and PricewaterhouseCoopers.


Abhishek has an MBA degree from Wake Forest University and an engineering degree from IIT Roorkee. He also holds a CPIM certification from APICS.

Thomas Gallagher

Based in North America, Tom serves as a Vice President for Consulting services with a focus on delivering significant client savings on MRO and Capital projects. In his current role, Tom is focused on the sales and delivery of Procurement Transformation solutions to clients in a wide range of industries and is also leading multiple client projects on indirect material and strategic sourcing.


An operations executive with extensive government, industry and consulting experience in the Aerospace and Defense, Automotive, Steel and Chemical industries, Tom's areas of expertise include Procurement, Strategic Sourcing, Procurement Outsourcing, Supply Chain Management and MRO Management.


Tom has more than 35 years of experience and has worked in various roles with companies like EDS, A.T. Kearney, Grumman Aerospace and the U.S. Navy. Tom is qualified BA, Economics from the DeSales University and also has done his MBA in Organization & Management from the Temple University.


Tom is also the Author of a white paper "MRO Procurement: A Primer for Success".

Alison B. Dahlman

As GEP Director of Marketing, Alison leads the company's marketing strategy by developing and executing marketing initiatives for their strategic sourcing, procurement outsourcing and technology solutions. Alison brings 20 years of marketing, product management, sales support and communications experience to GEP.


Prior to joining GEP, Alison spent over eight years at AT&T where she was responsible for strategic partnerships and led a team of vertical marketing specialists to develop internal and external programs to advance positioning within the state and local government, education and healthcare sectors. Before that, she worked at various dot coms where she managed marketing, sales and business development initiatives.


Alison holds a BBA in Marketing from Emory University in Atlanta Georgia.

Dr. Subhash Makhija

As the Chief Executive Officer of GEP, Subhash has been instrumental in guiding GEP into one of the fastest growing technology, consulting and outsourcing companies in the U.S., by building a cohesive global leadership team, simplified technology and a list of Fortune 500 and Global 2000 companies as customers.


Prior to co-founding GEP, Subhash led strategy, supply chain, procurement and global outsourcing engagements at Accenture. Before joining Accenture, Subhash worked at Hoechst Celanese.


Subhash earned a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from the Polytechnic University, an MBA with highest honors from the University of Chicago, and an M.S. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Rhode Island. His undergraduate degree is from the University Department of Chemical Technology (UDCT), Bombay. He also holds three US Patents.

Tunir Chatterjee

Tunir leads GEP Consulting operations in India. He spearheads strategic client management, and sourcing and operations improvement program delivery at key clients in India and other geographies. Additionally, Tunir coaches and mentors consultants and promotes learning and thought leadership within the firm.


Prior to joining GEP, Tunir was with Accenture's Chicago office where he led strategy and transformation engagements across industries at Fortune 100 corporations. Before joining Accenture, Tunir spent several years with Siemens Healthcare in the US in the company's R&D and Product Development functions.


Tunir holds an MBA from Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University and an undergraduate degree in Computer Science & Engineering.

Roopa Gandhi
President & Co-founder

Roopa's role as the President of GEP involves overseeing the company's day-to-day activities, as well as managing the company's public sector practice. Prior to forming GEP, Roopa served as the director of business development for Novo Nordisk, identifying, assessing and negotiating new business opportunities. Before that, as a management consultant with A.T. Kearney, she led strategic sourcing and spend management engagements for Fortune 100 companies.


A licensed pharmacist, Roopa has held various positions in R&D and technical sales at Rhone Poulenc (now Rhodia) and at Hoechst, spanning various aspects of manufacturing, packaging, and quality assurance.


Roopa earned an MBA from the University of Chicago, an M.S. with highest honors in Industrial Pharmacy from Long Island University, and a B.S. in Pharmacy from Bombay University.

Santosh Katakol

As Vice President of Technology at GEP, Santosh leads the Spend Analysis and Asia Technology Operations. Prior to joining GEP, Santosh was instrumental in setting up the CP Ships' Asia based Global Delivery Center. Before moving to Asia, Santosh held various management roles at CP Ships in the US and was responsible for product engineering, cross-platform integration and lead the engineering development centers in US and UK. Previously he worked on technology strategy and product development for Supply Chain, Telecommunications and Financial Industries at organizations such as Archents, Verizon, Kforce and Decision Consultants.


Santosh received his MBA with top honors from University of South Florida. He also holds a Master's degree in Computer Science from USF and a Bachelor's degree in Engineering from Bangalore University.

Tony Tringale

As Vice President Tony Tringale helps clients achieve real savings through delivery and adoption and procurement best practices and technology.


Tony has more than 20 years of procurement transformation experience working for clients in a variety of industries including telecommunications and media, high tech, as well as several clients in the public sector.


Tony earned a BS in Engineering from VA Tech and his MBA from Fayetteville State University. He worked with Accenture prior to joining GEP.

Wayne R. Clark

Wayne is Vice President of Procurement Outsourcing at GEP and is responsible for leading large-scale procurement transformation and outsourcing projects.


He has over 20 years of strategic procurement and supply chain experience working with a broad range of Fortune 500 clients around the world and across many sectors including CPG, Aerospace, High Tech, Retail, Telecoms, Industrial Products, Financial Services and Public Sector.


Prior to joining GEP, Wayne was a Principal at A.T. Kearney based out of their London, UK office for over 9 years. Wayne also has a passion for innovation and leads GEP’s innovation pipeline of new services and client offerings. He served as Director of Innovation for Circuit City and has published several articles in leading business journals relating to supplier-driven innovation. Wayne holds a Mechanical Engineering degree from Clarkson University and an MBA from London Business School. He resides in Richmond, VA with his wife and young daughter.

George Gordon

As Vice President of Enporion division, George’s focus is development of strategies and solutions for the utilities marketplace. George was CEO of Enporion prior to its acquisition by GEP.


George is a twenty-year veteran of business-to-business internet trading exchanges having previously served as President and CEO of FastParts.com, a B2B trading exchange for electronic components. He also co-founded and served as Chairman and CEO of Datamatix, Inc., an electronic commerce trading exchange company specializing in public sector procurement services. Before founding Datamatix, he was the Chairman and CEO of SPD Technologies Inc.

George serves on the board of the Tampa Bay Technology Forum and the Florida High Tech Corridor Council. He was appointed by the Governor to serve on the Florida Technology, Scholarship and Research Board. He has earned a BS in Engineering from the United States Naval Academy and retired from the Navy with a Captain rank.

Suresh Visvanathan

As Global Vice President of Sales, Suresh leads GEP’s global sales organization for technology as well as services. He is responsible for building and retaining GEP’s customer base for the procurement technology solutions.


Suresh joins us from Zycus, Inc. where he was Regional Vice President of North America Sales. He has 20 years of sales experience in the Enterprise Software, Telecommunications and IT Industries in North America, Europe and Asia-Pacific in which over 10 years has been in the Procurement Technology business in US and Europe. He’s also worked at Parametric Technology Corporation and ADC Communications.

Suresh graduated from the University of Madras with a B.E. in Electrical and Electronics and also has an MBA in Marketing from India.
