The Global eProcure compliance engine is designed to offer compliance everywhere across our technology suite. The engine can be wired across any interconnected process to guide users about policies, procedures and enforce defined set of business rules. This patent-pending feature allows buyers to input Level 1 and Level 2 purchasing data against the negotiated contract and the module presents the identified and implemented savings by region, commodity and business unit.
Examples of compliance that are delivered on the current platform are:
P2P compliance – Ensures that users of e-procurement systems are able to identify and pick preferred suppliers and contracted items within a given category of commodities
Payment compliance – Ensures that vendors are paid according to contracted terms such asmilestones, volume discounts, etc.
Vendor Compliance – Ensures that the vendor database is managed and maintained as a cleansed central repository with all active vendors in compliance with defined vendor qualification standards
The compliance engine is configurable and integration-ready with a business rules translator that converts procurement policies and procedures into a rules-based engine driving compliance for any defined procurement process.
