The Global eProcure compliance engine is designed to offer compliance everywhere across the APT suite.

The engine is built as a service that may be wired across any interconnected process to guide users about policies, procedures and enforce defined set of business rules.

Examples of compliance Engine applications that are delivered on the current APT platform are -

1. P2P compliance – Ensure that users of e-procurement systems are able to identify and pick preferred suppliers and contracted items within a given category of commodities for ex. office supplies.
2. Payment compliance – Ensure that vendors are paid as per stipulated contracted terms based on terms of invoice ex. milestones, volume discounts etc.
3. Vendor Compliance – Ensure that Vendor database is managed and maintained as a cleansed central repository, with all active vendors remaining compliant with defined enterprise vendor qualification standards.

The Compliance Engine is configurable and integration-ready with a business rules translator that helps translate procurement policies and procedures into a rules engine driving compliance ‘at source’ for any defined procurement process.
