Dr. Subhash Makhija - Chief Executive Officer and Co-founder

As the Chief Executive Officer of Global eProcure, Subhash has been instrumental in guiding Global eProcure into one of the fastest growing technology, consulting and outsourcing companies in the U.S. By building a cohesive global leadership team, simplified technology, a list of Fortune 500 companies as customers, Subhash has been able to build a “beautiful” company that has won several awards for its profitable growth and technology including Inc 500 & Deloitte Technology Fast 50 awards. For his efforts, Subhash was recognized as one of the finalist for the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year in 2006.

Prior to co-founding Global eProcure, Subhash led strategy, supply chain, Procurement and global outsourcing engagements for Fortune 500 companies at Accenture. Before joining Accenture, Subhash worked at Hoechst Celanese.

 Subhash earned a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from the Polytechnic University, an MBA with highest honors from the University of Chicago, and an M.S. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Rhode Island. His undergraduate degree is from the University Department of Chemical Technology (UDCT), Bombay. He also holds three US Patents.

Jagadish Turimella - Chief Operating Officer, Chief Technology Officer, and Co-founder

As Global eProcures Chief Operating Officer and Chief Technology Officer, JT spearheads the company's technical vision and leads the operational functions. Prior to joining Global eProcure, JT managed spend management and strategic sourcing engagements at A.T. Kearney for Fortune 100 companies across all industries. Before A.T. Kearney, JT held various management positions at the Option Clearing Corporation and Intergraph Corporation. At Intergraph Corporation, JT was responsible for creating new software products and developing and executing go-to-market strategies.

For his leadership within Global eProcure and in the broader supply chain field, JT has been named one of the 2005 "Pros to Know," a list top industry professionals, by the Supply & Demand Chain Executive.

JT received his MBA with high honors from the University of Chicago. He also holds an M.S. in Computer Science and a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering, both from Clemson University. JT also serves as an Advisory Board Member at Clemsons Department of Computer Science.

Roopa Gandhi, President & Founder

Roopa's role as the President of Global eProcure involves overseeing the company's day to day activities, as well as managing the company's public sector practice. Prior to forming Global eProcure, Roopa served as the director of business development for Novo Nordisk, identifying, assessing and negotiating new business opportunities. Earlier, in her capacity as a management consultant with A.T. Kearney, she led strategic sourcing and spend management engagements for Fortune 100 companies.

A licensed pharmacist, Roopa held various positions in R&D and technical sales at Rhone Poulenc (now Rhodia) and at Hoechst spanning various aspects of manufacturing, packaging, and quality assurance.

Roopa earned an MBA from the University of Chicago, an M.S. with highest honors in Industrial Pharmacy from Long Island University, and a B.S. in Pharmacy from Bombay University.

Sam Gadodia, Chief Financial Officer & Executive Vice President

As Global eProcure's CFO and Executive Vice President, Sam directs all of the company's financial and investment activities. In addition, Sam leads Global eProcure's Asia operation. Prior to joining Global eProcure, Sam was the Director of Product Management for Ticketmaster Online-CitySearch Inc. where he implemented the strategy for CityGuide's customer Internet and advertising business and developed the strategy for distribution of content and transactions over wireless devices. Before that role, Sam was an investment banker at Oppenheimer & Company where he led mergers and acquisitions activity in the technology and consumer products industries.

Previous to that role, Sam held various management positions at Avery Dennison, including leading the company's software division and establishing the company's office products operation in India. He also served as an executive in Johnson & Johnson's consumer products division.

Sam received his MBA with Honors from Harvard Business School and a M.S. from the University of Missouri. He also received his undergraduate degree from the University of Bombay.

Neha Desai Shah, Executive Vice President of Business Development

As Global eProcure's Executive Vice President of Business Development, Neha helps to guide the company's growth initiatives by building and managing relationships with strategic customers and leading full-scale consulting engagements. Neha leads business development effort for large global companies and guide the senior management of these companies during the start up and transition phases of large scale global programs involving consulting, outsourcing & technology. Prior to joining Global eProcure, Neha was a consultant at Accenture where she worked on a variety of sales and marketing and R&D engagements for Fortune 100 companies. She also assisted in the development of Accenture's Pharmaceutical and Medical Practice's eCommerce venture strategy. Before that, she was an associate at PricewaterhouseCoopers.

Neha received her MBA with a concentration in Entrepreneurial Management from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania with distinction. She also has a Bachelors degree in Finance from the Wharton School.

Peter Pond, Board of Directors

Peter is a founding partner of Alta Equity Ventures. Previously, he was a managing director in the Investment Banking Department at Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette and head of its Midwest Investment Banking Group. Prior to joining DLJ, he worked at Smith Barney rising to the rank of Managing Director responsible for the firm's Midwest investment banking operations. Peter holds a BS in Economics from Williams College and an MBA in Finance from the University of Chicago.

Dr. Steven N. Kaplan, Advisory Board Member

Steven is the Neubauer Family Professor of Entrepreneurship and Finance at the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business (GSB) and faculty director of the school's Entrepreneurship department. Steven's research, teaching, and consulting focus on issues in private equity and entrepreneurial finance, e-commerce, corporate governance, corporate restructuring, mergers and acquisitions and corporate finance. Prior to completing his PhD studies, Steven held positions with Kidder, Peabody & Co. and Booz, Allen & Hamilton.

Steven earned his Ph.D. in Business Economics from Harvard University and his AB in Applied Mathematics and Economics from Harvard College, graduating summa cum laude.
